Ooc// Hope it's not too late for me? I like this idea, btw. And the poem. The poem was very good:)
Ic// Stone stepped out of the thicket to see a few cats standing on the other side. He rarely saw cats out here, aside from those in "clans" several treelengths away. But these ones seemed different. Curious, he stepped a bit closer, now clearly visible. "Uhhh... hi?" He meowed softly. The wind blew, ruffling up his soft gray coat.
-
Ooc// Cool and you're welcome;)
Ic// "I... Hi, my name is Stone. It's a pleasure to meet you," he meowed, slightly startled but regaining his "cool" "I'm a forest cat. I just came around to see about some prey. I was here several moons ago and I recall this being a pretty good spot. But," he sighed, "it appears that I'm a bit late. I guess I'll be going then?" He asked. He was really hoping to stay. He had been on his feet for quite some time.
-
Ooc// Ikr it's really late. I'll stick around for just a bit though.
-
"Oh, thank you! That's quite kind. I could really go for some prey... er... fresh-kill." He nodded his head in thanks.
-
Ooc// Whoops sorry. I'm kinda new around here. :(
-
Stone repeated the gesture. "Pleased to meet you. I'm Stone," he mewed back.
-
Stone chuckled a bit lightly, then stretched, saying, "If it's all the same to you, I think I'll go out hunting myself." Stone never liked getting things he didn't earn, yet as kind as these cats were, he was uncertain. "Well," he thought, " They probably could use a bit more fresh-kill, anyhow."
He slowly and thoughtfully stepped away from the small camp, looking for some small birds or mice, his favorites.
-
Stone trotted back to the little camp with amouse and a sparrow. He dropped the little bird on the small pile and sat to eat his mouse.
When he finished, he licked his paws and went to check out his new nest. He brought in a few soft leaves and laid down, curling his tail around his paws and relaxing.
-
Ooc: Ohhhh Matilda's gettin in trouble...
Ic: Keeping one eye open to the starry night, Stone watched both Matilda and Ellen leave, but only Ellen came back. Thinking this curious, He sat out at the edge of the den, looking, listening. He looked up to the sky, as he always did on such occasions. He loved seeing the shapes made by the stars, imagining the forms.
-
"Not really tired," Stone replied. Though it was more of that it had been a bit of a crazy day. He started it by being chased by some warriors and ended up with a new group of friends. What were the chances?

Otterbone sat quietly looking at the stars. The bright, constant shine was calming to him. He liked to imagine that they were all cats, coming together in the sky. They made him feel safe. He walked back t o the den, glancing back at the sky once more, then crawled into his nest.
-
Cool;) Will there be a separate Rp thread or do we Rp here?
-
Stone eyed the newcomers warily, but nodded in greeting.
-
Ooc// Niether did I... Stone is a deep gray with lighter spots and green-gray eyes. But you probably already guessed something like that. ;)
-
As it was approaching morning anyhow, Stone chose to head out in search of a bit more prey. There were getting to be a bit more cats now, more mouths to feed. As good of a leader Storm was, Stone felt a need for more... structure. Eight cats would probably not be fun to manage singlehandedly. Thinking to mention this and his willingness to help to Storm later, he went over towards the clump of trees to the South.
He found a little clover patch nearby, and within it seemed to be a whole colony of mice. "This must be a lucky day!" he thought, and set to work. In no time he had five plump mice in his jaws and decided to head back. This would certainly feed the cats for awhile. He set them on the fresh kill pile triumphantly.
-
Okay. What about the mother?
-
Oh. Sorry don't think I have any she cats at the mo. Good luck.

Otterbone stood and stetched, blinking several times, then stepped out. "Gee, must've overslept," he thought groggily, as he went out to join the others. Tigerstrike and Crystalstream were already up, and he greeted them. Swiftstar had just gotten up too, it seemed.
